The Acrel AIM-D100-TH is a dedicated electrical safety insulation monitoring instrument engineered specifically for high-voltage DC electric vehicle fast charging equipment, DC battery energy storage systems (BESS), and ungrounded (IT) DC power distribution networks. Operating across monitored voltages from 100V up to 1000V DC, it continuously supervises the insulation resistance between positive/negative DC buses and earth ground. Featuring real-time adaptive measurement from 1kΩ to 10MΩ, the device maintains fast detection cycles (500ms or 1000ms) even in electrical environments with high distributed system leakage capacitance up to 5μF. The AIM-D100-TH includes three independent, user-programmable alarm relay outputs for early warning, alarm escalation, and emergency circuit isolation. Equipped with dual RS485 Modbus-RTU and CAN bus communication interfaces and non-volatile event logging of up to 20 historical faults, it ensures maximum electrical safety and regulatory compliance for DC fast charging stations.
