The Acrel AHKC Series Hall Effect Current Sensors are high-accuracy transducers designed for isolated measurement of direct current (DC), alternating current (AC), and complex pulsed currents in high-power DC fast EV charging piles, energy storage systems (BESS), solar inverters, and industrial variable frequency drives. Using magnetic compensation and Hall-effect sensing principles, the AHKC series provides 3000V AC galvanic isolation between primary power busbars and secondary electronic control systems. With an ultra-fast response time under 5 microseconds, these sensors detect severe overcurrent and short-circuit events rapidly enough to trigger protective shutdowns. Available in both round cable apertures and large rectangular busbar openings from 20A up to 5000A, the AHKC series offers standardized 0-5V, 0-4V, or 4-20mA process outputs compatible with any PLC or charging controller ADC.
